Skellie's Got Her Groove Back

Samantha Skellie the skeleton had been hanging out in the holiday closet since November 3rd. She had been feeling dusty, dull, and really down, to be honest. As you can imagine she and the plastic Santa, Easter bunny decorations, and mischievous leprechaun cutouts didn't quite jive. It's not like they looked down on her, they just didn't have much to talk about! When October 1st rolled around and she was set in the garden, she had a hard time getting into the spirit of the season, even after the household kids covered her in spiderwebs. That is until the mom of the household unboxed this dashing, full-sized talking skeleton, Mr. Crazy Bonez! Now, when the skeletons went back in the closet, they'd have plenty to talk about!

Questions & Answers

Q: What lines does the skeleton speak? How often are they repeated? Can you turn off the speaking part? Will he speak continuously when activated and stop when the last phrase is completed? (1 Answer)
Asked by Johnny  | 16 October 2023
Monster Responds...
The specific phrases Mr. Crazy Bonez speaks aren't something our copy details, and the same goes for how often they repeat, whether there's an on/off switch for the speaking function, or the exact playback behavior once activated. What we do know is that he's triggered by sound, and when activated his eyes flash red, his jaw moves, and he speaks spooky phrases. For those specifics on the audio, your best bet is the Q&A section here on the page, where other owners may have weighed in.

Q: Hi! Your animatronics are only speaking english? Or they have multi langage?
Thanks ;) (1 Answer)
Asked by Rachel | 16 September 2023
Monster Responds...
Mr. Crazy Bonez speaks spooky phrases in English. We don't have details on additional language options for this one, so English is what you can count on when that sound sensor triggers his jaw and flashing red eyes.

Q: Can this be activated by movement sensor or step pad? (1 Answer)
Asked by Tom | 26 July 2023
Monster Responds...
Mr. Crazy Bonez activates by sound, so clapping, talking, or any nearby noise will trigger the flashing red eyes, moving jaw, and spooky phrases. It doesn't support motion or step pad activation.

Q: Will the arms / legs hold there positions once they are moved ? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | 7 February 2023
Monster Responds...
The joints are movable, but we don't have details on whether they hold a set position on their own or simply allow repositioning. What we can say is that the skeleton is molded plastic with movable joints, so you can pose the limbs to get the look you want before displaying him.

Q: Is there a way to attach crazy bones head to his body so his head isn’t floppy and I have to hang him? (1 Answer)
Asked by Sue | 13 August 2022
Monster Responds...
The joints on Mr. Crazy Bonez are movable but not lockable, so there's no built-in mechanism to fix the head in place. Hanging him from the cord loop on top of the skull is the intended display method, and it also keeps the head naturally upright.

Q: I just received Mr. Crazy Bones and I love him! But how do I get his head stationary and not loose? Loose means I can only hang him. The hole at the bottom of his head doesn’t fit on the neck. (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | 11 August 2022
Monster Responds...
So glad you're loving him! Mr. Crazy Bonez is designed with movable joints throughout, and the head connection works the same way, meaning it's meant to have some give rather than locking rigidly in place. Hanging is actually a great way to display him, and with his sound-activated features, he looks fantastic suspended where he can move freely.

Q: What are the phrases the skeleton utters? (1 Answer)
Asked by Bill | 14 June 2021
Monster Responds...
We don't have the specific phrases on our end. What we do know is that when the sound sensor is triggered, the jaw moves and the eyes flash red while it speaks, so you can count on some genuinely spooky audio to go with the show.

Q: Description states joints are movable but can joints be locked into a position for different poses? (1 Answer)
Asked by Anonymous | 8 June 2021
Monster Responds...
The joints are movable, but we don't have details on whether they lock into a fixed position. What we do know is that the skeleton is molded plastic and needs external support to hold a standing pose, so the joints likely hold a range of positions through friction rather than a locking mechanism.

Q: Can I move the legs and arms to form a Yoga pose, such as the Warrior One?
Thanks,
MS (1 Answer)
Asked by Mirnaly | 8 June 2021
Monster Responds...
Yes, the arms and legs have movable joints, so you can reposition them into all kinds of poses. We don't have a specific range of motion listed for each joint, so whether it can hit the exact angles of Warrior One is something we can't confirm, but the posability is a core feature of this skeleton.

Q: Could you tell me what phrases this skeleton says? (1 Answer)
Asked by Stephanie | 8 March 2021
Monster Responds...
We don't have the specific phrases listed for this skeleton. What we do know is that when sound activates it, the jaw moves and it speaks spooky phrases while the eyes flash red, so it's definitely built to give your guests a fright!

Q: Is this the official "Pose-N-Stay Skeleton" brand that comes in the black box? (lol I collect them) (1 Answer)
Asked by D | 16 October 2020
Monster Responds...
This is the Mr. Crazy Bonez animated skeleton, not the Pose-N-Stay brand. It's a 5-foot molded plastic skeleton with movable joints, sound-activated flashing red eyes, a moving jaw, and spooky phrases.
