Can you believe what they had to put up with back then? It’s nothing like the struggles that an average kid goes through today! Kids in the pioneer days of the American frontier had to get up early in the morning to feed the chickens. You know, before the rooster even crows! They had to help out with chores in the morning and they had to gather firewood for the winter. They had to cut down stones, plough fields, and they had to plant fields with crops. They couldn’t microwave some pizza rolls when they got hungry and they had to go to the bathroom in an outhouse. And they didn’t even have smartphone to text their friends!
Well, your child is probably glad that they live in the modern age. They get access to video games and computers, but it’s never a bad idea to brush up on history to appreciate the nice things that we have today. After all, a few days without Wi-Fi is enough to make anyone recognize how great it is! Maybe this costume is a good way to introduce your young one to the ways of our past!

This Pioneer Boy costume gives your child a taste of what it would have been like living on the prairie. It comes with a striped shirt that has a button-up style front. The sleeve cuffs have elastic for fitting and the wide collar neatly fits the red bandana. The brown pants have a button in front and fit with suspenders for a look that will have your child ready to do some chores on the farm!
